My visual arts course this year is focus on painting, I enjoyed painting last year because once i found what i enjoyed doing it was easy for me to focus on that one task, as this will be a challenge for me i will be able to express my ideas into my paintings, my Kaupapa for the year will be based on spiritual and cultural development.
This is something that interests me because last year was a challenge and this year i know what i'm able to do and because i know what my subject matter is.

Kia ora Lani, it is awesome that you have built up your confidence in painting. I always knew you had this skill, so it is cool that you are feeling like you can start this year positively.
ReplyDeleteThe sunset idea you have, mixed wth the Tony Fomison look could be quite interesting. I wonder if you paint on hessian instead of paper this year.... I strongly suggest we keep working with oil paints as you gained success with them and it felt like you enjoyed this process.
